Have you always wanted to walk a 5K but weren't sure where to start? Well, here's your chance to give it a shot!
Join the "Mentor Church Marchers" team as we walk to benefit Matthew 25 Ministries' Fighting Hunger 5K on Saturday, 11/8/14, 8:30 AM, at M25M in Blue Ash.
Pre-race registration cost is $18 per team member to walk, receive a long-sleeve t-shirt and goody bag, and entrance to the after-race buffet. $3/person for non-walkers wishing to enjoy the buffet and cheer on the team.
A "couch to 5K" training plan will be available starting this Sunday at the back of the worship center. This is a 6-week plan, and since there are 6 weeks left until the event you have plenty of time to train!
Go ahead and sign up online today at http://www.m25m.org/Page.aspx?x=36cf77b8-586e-4537-b8a8-d5e10bcdf770 and choose to join the team "Mentor Church Marchers". Race day details will be provided closer to the event, but feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I look forward to walking with you!

There are four discipleship classes not currently in session: Class 101: Introduction to Church Membership; Class 201: Discovering Spiritual Maturity; Class 301: Learning to SERVE Like Jesus and Class; 401: Becoming a Contagious Christian. These classes are designed to be taken in order. If you’d like to take one of these discipleship classes, please sign up on the appropriate form at the back of the auditorium. When any of these lists has five or more names, we will schedule the appropriate class.

Do not forget about the Random Acts of Kindness cards on the table at the back of the auditorium. There are mission opportunities surrounding us all day long, and God is calling us to take advantage of the wonderful privilege of serving others.

We are looking for willing cooks to help put meals together on one or more Wednesday Nights. Beginning the first week of September, we will be serving meals at 6:00 p.m., and we need volunteers to sustain this incredible ministry. These meals provide food for children and youth who attend our events as well as provide a tremendous time for getting to know one another prior to our Wednesday Night events and Adult Bible Study. Please see Mary Berkemeyer if interested in helping.
