The Mentor Baptist Kitchen is one place where there can never be too many cooks in the kitchen!
You may be asking, "The kitchen is a ministry ?"; the answer is a definite YES, and the ways are numerous.
The Kitchen Ministry is back in high gear and ready to serve the congregation in a variety of ways. The Kitchen Team has already begun cooking again on Wednesday nights and dinners are served every week at 6:00 pm. The cost is $4.00 per adult (over 12), $2.00 per child, and only $10.00 per family. The second Wednesday of every month features "Chicken Wednesday". The church provides the fried chicken and dessert, everyone brings a dish, and the charge is only $2.00 per adult, $1.00 per child.
The Kitchen Preparation Team prepares for dinner on Wednesday afternoon. Social fellowship is an integral ingredient in the life of the church,and the kitchen reflects a warm spirit of hospitality.
